The grass grew thick here, thick and long, for the ends of the blades were flicking against her bare thighs. Her school robes were up packed at the bottom of her trunk, because who wants to wear those stuffy old things on such a warm morning, so she was adorned in her summer clothes. A pair of (rather short) whitewashed jean shorts, and a flowy white tunic like top thats sleeves reached down toward her fingertips. Normally, seeing this you would think to see a preppy blonde with perfect long tanned legs, but Alair wasn't too much about that. Her hair was a mix between peroxide blond, black and a bright flourescent pink. It reached down between her shoulder blades and its length varied shorter from there. Skin was anything but tan, it held a porceline look to it, not pasty white but a luminescent pearl like color. Large almond shaped eyes glanced over the grass, and when she finally parted from their sinewy grasp into shorter trimmed grass, you could see her outfit wasn't as preppy as first appearing. Pink and white striped sock went up nearly to her knee along with the black and white one on the other leg, while black ballet flats were on her feet.
A breeze picked up over the lake to grab at her hair, tossing it about over her shoulders, she laughed and grabbed onto her run away hair. This was the Ravenclaw girl's last year at the school, and she was feeling it even though the school year was just beggining. To think, she would be leaving the place that she had pretty much treated as a home since first year, it would be a sad time that last day. So, the ones in between were to be filled with fun...and parties. Of course, its the last year, time to finally get all those other goals finished. The goals like getting through a few flings, get drunk and wander the halls with a bunch of buddies giggling like crazy. Oh yes, such goals were unattainable before. A smirk came across her mouth, oh yes, and make friends with those unmentionables. The people she had never bothered to try and acknowledge. She stopped at the lake's edge, where the water gently cribbed onto the earth in gentle ripples.
She licked her lips, the breeze had been drying them out, and crouched down. Alair reached out her hand, fingertips tracing across the water making tiny ripples of their own. A calm smile fleeted over her mouth, as she played in the water the way she used to when she was a kid. How times had gone by, growing up, getting boyfriends, wearing makeup, playing sports, climbing trees, making sandcastles, waiting for the next day in hopes of new dreams.(in reversed order, going from recent to younger) Yeah, things had definatly escalated. Her hand came up to catch her pink, blonde, and black hair as it whipped across her face, and gently tuck it behind her ear. She pushed off the ground and fell back from her crouched posistion to sit on the back. She stretched out her short legs toward the water, and leaned back onto her elbows. Looking up into the sky, she watched the clouds race across the sky then their twin reflections in the lake. She would definatly miss this place later in life, but for now...she was just horrendously bored.
